I don’t listen jazz very often, but when I do listen it’s always a pleasure. I can’t recall when and where I first heard about Django Reinhardt, but I recognized his name in a message I’ve got earlier… it contained the link to this documentary that tells the story of the extraordinary and legendary life of the man who is referred to as the greatest jazz guitar player of all times.
It’s about 3 years since the Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief has been released, but I found out about this movie while searching information about its sequel, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) official trailer. The subject looks interesting enough to watch, and I’ll have to return with some infos about the movie (I don’t want to find out spoilers about how good it is… or not).

Do you like creepy things? If the answer is yes, you will for sure love this CGI VFX Short Film… it’s an awesomely creepy animated short film created by the talented filmmaker and visual artist Floris Kaayk! A futuristic vision of a world after a catastrophic disaster. In this dark parable mutated limbs are looking for cooperation, but due to miscommunication this mission is doomed to fail.

Besides Kendo (the way of the sword), Kyudo (the way of the bow – the archery) is one of the most remarcable Japanese martial arts. As far as I notice (I only used a bow several times, but I practice kendo) both have a very similar state of mind – you have to live it to fully understand it. I copied (the quote at the end of the article) the description in the Youtube video because it offers a summary, a little perspective about the martial art.
What do you think about the future? Do you see it as a direct effect of the current day, as we are a consequence of the past? Well… This sci-fi movie is set in the year 2154, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.

Well if you haven’t heard about this Romanian movie it’s time to find out more about it. It was released recently in the Romanian cinemas, march 2013, so it’s brand new. I had the chance towatch it earlier tonight and I consider it very good excellent: it’s a comedy about people, animals and their complicated relationship. It’s not an easy life when you have children and to live with them and their pets in a block of apartments… especially when we eat the animals they love.

It’s not the firstStar Trek into the darknes trailer I am posting, I’ve noticed the official one last month. Since I’ve been watching Star Trek series and movies for more than 2 decades I am rather curious about this new international trailer…

Well, this year will be released a new Tarzan movie. But I don’t think it’s a “regular” Tarzan movie: the summary of the plot says that Tarzan and Jane Porter face a mercenary army dispatched by the evil CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s parents, after they died in a plane crash. The trailer is also interesting… you can watch it here:
The Star Trek movies and series made some history in the last few decades, even the number of fans was not so much the producers have been expected in some periods. But you already know that. After the Star Trek: Enterprise ended I thought that it was the end of all Star Trek. Well… The movie released in 2009 is followed by a new one that’s going to be released later this year.

If I remember right, the role for the Predator in the first movie, along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, was offered to Jean-Claude Van Damme. It might have been someone else, I am not 100% sure.
